Wednesday #Poetry: Cease, Heat, Nasty

Welcome to my regular Wednesday poetry corner, brought to you by Three Word Wednesday and One Shot Wednesday.

Today's words are Cease, Heat, Nasty.

Bright sun beats down, and it's nasty
This heat's like a furnace, all blast-y
I'm thirsty, so cease
These "good manners", please!
Give me a beer, not a half-assed tea!

If alcohol I have to strum

    Makes me pop a vein

  7. I enjoyed that. Nothing beats a good brew on a hot day. I was curious how you were going to link the 3 words together. You did it very well. Thank you!
