Wednesday #Poetry: Erode, Heart, Observe

Welcome to my regular Wednesday poetry corner, brought to you by Three Word Wednesday.

Today's words are: Erode, Heart, Observe.

Engine roared like fit to burst,
Heart desperate to cross the line first,
He set a cruel pace.
"God, 'erode a fine race,
But observe, now, his motorbike's cursed!"
