    1. I believe myself to be real, and the world responds to my actions as though I were real, so far at least. That's as much as any of us can hope for.

  2. Baritone, with a 3 octave range (after warm-ups). In a falsetto, I can sing first tenor, but it sounds like crap.

  3. What did you want to be when you grew up? Say, at about age 5 or so?

    1. I wanted to be a scientist, the kind that has things named after him. The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, the Planck Length, the Krebs Cycle, the islets of Langerhans... things like units would be cool, too, like Ohms, Watts, Volts, degrees Kelvin, degrees Fahrenheit, and so on. I always thought it would be fantastic to have space explorers firing up the Noland Emitters to zoom off to Alpha Centauri.

    1. Hmmm, tough question. I like German chocolate cake, carrot cake, pineapple upside down cake, angel's food cake, devil's food cake, funnel cake, thunder cake, fruitcake, pumpkin spice cake, lemon creme cake, marble cake, coffee cake, blueberry nut cake, gooey butter cake....

For my favorite kind, though, I'm going to go with cinnamon chocolate cake with mocha frosting.

  5. I'm relatively new to the blogging world. What are some tips or just some words of wisdom you could pass down?

    1. Pick a subject and stick with it. Post fresh content several times a week. Be succinct. Be funny. Be insightful. Be profound. If you can manage it, be all of these things at once. Don't be afraid to tell people about your blog posts, but don't be a jerk about it. Don't be discouraged if your audience is slow to grow. Read up on Google Analytics, Feedburner, scheduled posting and customized templates... then use them.

  6. I have a few questions:

What is your social security number?
What is your date of birth?
What is your mother's maiden name?
    What's your full name?

    1. My social security number is nine digits long.

My date of birth is September 14.

My mother's maiden name is ************.

My full name is the eldritch tool by which demons bind angels to their will, and the prayer by which angels release demons from their torments.

  7. If you had a time machine, where would you go first?

  8. I'd go back to 1982 and talk some sense into myself. You have no idea how screwed up I was at that age.

  9. What sort of super hero would you like to be? ^__^ Happy Birthday Tony!

    1. I'd like to be the kind that is rich (or at least not wanting for money), does the superhero thing out of joy and a sense of duty rather than because I'm haunted by guilt and/or malignant childhood psychosis (e.g. from seeing his parents murdered), and one who is popular with the ladies because of his wit, charm and good looks, not his money, status or supersuit.

Iron Man, Captain America or the Grammarian would do as role models.
