Activity on a new front

Sometimes thing go slowly, sometimes things go quickly. After discussing my need for an artist to do a cover for my book, I got a contact and things have started rolling. She sent me several cover concepts, which we've narrowed down to two.

Nice to make good progress toward checking something off the list!

Hey, did I mention that I'll be approaching people for some airtime on their blogs and sites? I'd like to do interviews, book promos, etc. around the TBD launch date.

  1. My particular conceit is to separate writing a book from producing a book (that is, turning it into a product), starting with the self-edit phase. As you know, this first half of the year has been more about production than writing for me. One more, then it's back to writing!

I have a checklist that I set up in Evernote. It lets me keep track of everything that needs to happen, before I open the Crown Royal. :-D

    1. Good approach. I'm better at the writing than the producing.

      Care to share that checklist?

  2. I'll be happy to have you over when you're ready, Tony. Unless I'm dying of a lung infection. Please let me know when TBD grows nigh.

    Good luck on the covers!

  3. My blog's seeing more and more traffic everyday and I'd love to host you- for whatever you may need. Book cover reveals, book launches, interviews- whatever. Just drop me a line when you start to get a calendar worked out.

Thank you for leaving a comment. The staff at Landless will treat it with the same care that we would bestow on a newly hatched chick. By the way, no pressure or anything, but have you ever considered subscribing to Landless via RSS?
