The price of an updated look

When I updated the look of my blog last week, I apparently dropped the snippet of HTML code for my Google Analytics tracking. I've been so crazy busy this past month, I haven't checked Analytics since the update, so didn't notice the datacrash.

I just went into the code and replaced it, so I hope all is back to normal now. As a side note, what do you think of the new look? It's much brighter and more polished looking than the old brown-and-blue scheme I've had for several years. Do you like it?

  1. I like it! Funny coincidence, I also re-skinned my blog this week.

  2. I like it a lot, Tony. It has a nice clean look to it and I particularly like the banner photograph.

    Nice work.

    1. Thanks, Kevin. Interestingly, that's the same banner photo that's been there all along, but the lighter background brings out the colors of that sunset much better.

    2. So it is, Tony. The previous color scheme drew attention from it - or, least, drew my eye away from the banner. Now the banner's much more of a feature.

      A pleasing end result.

  3. I like the content being on the lefthand side. The color pallet is a little bright for my screen but nothing I can't adjust to. Happy that the sunset banner survived!

  4. Definitely an improvement. Not as good as a black background with neon green text, but still nice.
